Global Developmental Disorder
Global developmental delay (GDD) is defined as the failure to achieve developmental milestones within the expected age range. It is an umbrella term used when children are significantly delayed in two or more areas of development, categorised into motor skills, speech, cognitive skills, and social and emotional development. This might include learning to walk or talk, movement skills, learning new things and interacting with others socially and emotionally.
